George Harrison's Assistance in Printing Krsna Book
Sriman George Harrison has certainly done an unique service by contributing ,000 for publishing my Krsna book. When I was in London, he saw me four times and he was very submissive and devout and he was not at all proud of his very well-to-do material position. Related Articles (Letter from Srila Prabhupada)

Srila Prabhupada Writes to George Harrison
By the grace of Krsna, you have already realized to some extent about the necessity and importance of Hare Krsna movement in the world. Similarly, if John also does so, it will be a great event. Related Articles (Letter from Srila Prabhupada)

Why Doesn't God Just Appear so we Can See Him?
Why is it that God does not just manifest Himself? Wouldn't that end all the disbelief in the Lord? Wouldn't that end atheism completely? I am trying to comprehend this matter Wouldn't it be a billion times easier for everyone from devotee to doubter if the Lord just manifested himself today before us all? I am very confused on this matter. I am a believer from faith but am still confused. Your friend, Tom (Letter from Madhudvisa dasa)

Uniting the Different Religions of the World With the Bhagavad-gita
The plain truth is that the Supreme Godhead is the Father, the Nature is the Supreme Mother and all living entities so many children of Almighty Father Godhead and the Mother Nature. The whole arrangement is therefore a family unit and one should wonder as to why there is so much anomaly in this universal family affair. (Letter from Srila Prabhupada)

Questions & Answers With Srila Prabhupada
Dear Swami Bhaktivedanta,
I've read that your Krishna Consciousness is a non-sectarian science of the soul. How is it, then, that you follow some particular concept of God- Krishna rather than a more universal concept, such as the One, or the All-Pervading Light? (Letter from Srila Prabhupada)

What Are The Vedas?
Veda means knowledge, and there are two kinds of knowledge, one mundane and another transcendental. The Vedas are considered to be originally transcendental because they come from the platform which existed before the creation. This transcendental knowledge was impregnated in the heart of the first created living being, and then he distributed the knowledge both for material and spiritual purposes. (Letter from Srila Prabhupada)

What is a real guru? Prabhupada explains:
Accepting a guru really means learning the spiritual science from him and executing his instructions. As you say, life is hectic, so don't jump into a guru-disciple relationship blindly. If you continue chanting Hare Krishna and study Bhagavad Gita As It Is by A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabupada, I'm sure your path will become crystal clear. (Letter from Dravinaksa dasa)

How I Discovered Krishna
I live in the USA in Pennsylvania. It is a nice place and the people are also nice but they are not very open-minded. I will tell you about how I discovered Krishna. (Letter from Dan)

Does Initiation Make The Maha-Mantra Work?
Ive read in Prabhupada's books that this transcedental sound is passed down through a lineage of masters, and the pure sound is preserved by great yogis as himself. Also these great yogis share this sound with their desciples in first initiation. Is this the way you can begin to practice this kind of yoga? Can I receive this sound by anybody or do I need to receive it by someone like Prabhupada? (Letter from Gadadhara das)

Why do my friends say I look sad when I am happy just thinking of Krsna?
There are many pictures of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada where he looks very grave or sad, but he said he was feeling great happiness in Krishna consciousness. People only see the body, not the mind or even the soul, so they may misinterpret our inner feelings. (Letter from Dravinaksa das)

The Power of Prabhupada's Books [Science of Self Realsation]
Granny was saying that this was not some ordinary book... I was very surprised. She said that we should listen to what Prabhupada said and chant Hare Krishna because that was the religion for this age. There was a lot of talk about how Christianity was no more and no one was following the Bible, but what Prabhupada said was pure and perfect... (Letter from Bhaktin Dora)

Change the Public Not the Philosophy
Our process is to show Krishna Consciousness as it is, not as others want to see it. By showing KC in this way, you are making the thing less important. It is not that we should change to accommodate the public, but that we shoud change the public to accommodate us. (Letter from Srila Prabhupada)

The Krishna.org Editorial Policy: A Little Bit of A Pure Thing...
In India it is said that a little bit of a pure thing is much better than huge volumes of impure, adulterated things. So please try to follow this policy and publish in BTG only pure Krishna Conscious articles. Related Articles (Letter from Srila Prabhupada)

Why Do Devotees Have a Negative Outlook on the Material World?
The actual fact is that this material world is a miserable, negative place, full of danger at every step. It is a temporary abode of death, birth, disease and old-age, home of suffering and pain only. To come to this platform of understanding of things as they are, is not a very common thing, and therefore such persons who attain to it, they are described as great souls: Related Articles (Letter from Srila Prabhupada)

Religion of Love--A Book Review
In my opinion the whole thesis is based on the philosophy of pantheism and the approach is made by the services of mankind. Religion of love is the true religious idea but if the approach is made through the service of mankind only, then the process is made imperfect, partial and unscientific. (Letter from Srila Prabhupada)

My View on Raja-Yoga
I am surprised at the condemnation of other methods of Yoga, especially Hatha Yoga and Raja Yoga. Are these methods not as divine as BHAKTI Yoga?... (Letter from Nikhil Navare)

Krishna: Monism or Duealism?
I was debating something for quite some time and I was wondering if you could help me out. Does Krishna preach monism(the universe is one big manifestation of God and the idea of a personal God is replaced by this universe) or dualism (the idea that this universe is pervaded by the Lord but also seperate from Him.) I would greatly greatly appereciate an answer back. This has been on my mind for a long time and I am suffering greatly from the inability to get an answer. God bless whoever returns this message. Jacob. (Letter from Madhudvisa dasa)

It Has Always Been Clear to Me that Prabhuapda's Books Should Never be Changed...
It has always been clear for me that Prabhupada's books should never be changed, specially once they were edited and accepted by their author, who used them himself to lecture while present. That is why I am keeping the original version of Bhagavad Gita (1975 MacMillan) and not reading from other editions. The message is so clear when you read Srila Prabhupada's original but when I try to read from the most recent version in some cases the verses, although once familiar to me, become quite unclear. Lord Vamanadeva, Bali Maharaja and His Non-Bona Fide Guru
Bali Maharaja is Mahajana because he wanted to serve Visnu by disobeying his non-bonafide spiritual master... one should be anxious to accept a spiritual master who is bona fide in spiritual knowledge. And if need be one should relinquish the connection of hereditary spiritual master and accept a real bona fide spiritual master. Related Articles (Letter from Srila Prabhupada)

Why should you remarry? Rather you should take sannyasa...
There is a certain kind of laddu which has such a taste, that anyone who has tasted it once, he laments, oh how I would like to taste again. And anyone who has never tasted, he also laments, oh I have never tasted. So one who has tasted, and one who has not tasted, both are lamenting. Wife is like that.
